INFANTSEE®/CHILDREN’S EYE EXAMS

InfantSEE®/Children’s Eye Exams

InfantSEE® is a public health program that both Dr. Wang and Dr. Lamis participate in. As a participating optometrist we provide comprehensive infant eye assessments for those between 6 and 12 months of age as a no-cost public service. It is important to identify children who have any eye problems at a young age because vision development is easier to correct if treatment begins early. Along with the InfantSEE® program we encourage parents to bring their children in for an eye exam at least once before they start kindergarten. This is particularly important if your child displays any of the following: occasional crossing of the eyes, avoidance, fatigue or inattention with reading or school activities, mild headaches, rubbing of the eyes, occasional squinting, or a slight head turn.
