Dr. Arthur Wang

Dr. Wang was born in Vancouver, Canada and graduated with distinction from Simon Fraser University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and the University of Missouri-St. Louis College of Optometry in 2012 with his doctorate. Between schooling, Dr. Wang participated in a number of missionary trips including a 6 month mission to an orphanage an hour from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He completed an internship at the Saint Louis VA hospital and Pepose Vision Institute in Missouri focusing on ocular disease and ophthalmology co-management. Primary care and vision therapy was the focus of his internships in Seattle and Lynnwood, WA. He began his private practice with his wife Dr. Lamis in Marysville, Washington in the beginning of 2014 after working for the previous owner for 2 years. They hope to continue to provide innovative eye care solutions utilizing the latest technologies.



Dr. Wang focuses his practice on primary care, ocular disease and contact lenses. He and his wife are trained and licensed to use diagnostic and therapeutic pharmaceuticals for the treatment and management of eye conditions. They are also specialized in fitting toric, multifocal and keratoconus lenses. He believes in great patient care and building relationships with his patients.


Dr. Wang is an active member of the American Optometric Association and the Optometric Physicians of Washington. He is also an active member in the community and enjoys playing hockey, soccer, watersports and spending time with his wife.

Dr. Rachel Lamis

Dr. Lamis was born and raised in a small town in Iowa. In 2008 she graduated magna cum laude from Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and a minor in Business. She then attended the University of Missouri-St. Louis College of Optometry where she graduated with honors in 2012 receiving her doctorate in optometry. While pursuing her degree in optometry, Dr. Lamis volunteered for a OneSight sponsored clinic to Puebla, Mexico. Along with a team of other optometrists and optometric staff they provided over 10,000 eye exams in just 8 clinic days. Dr. Lamis completed internships at O’Donnell Eye Institute and Galanis Cataract & Laser Eye Center both in St. Louis and specializing in ocular disease. She also completed an internship at Yager Eye Institute in Orlando, Fl specializing in contact lenses and in particular irregular corneal fits.



Dr. Lamis began working at this practice in 2012 and is now part owner with her husband Dr. Wang. Her focus is primary care and contact lenses. She is an active member of the American Optometric Association and the Optometric Physicians of Washington. When not practicing optometry she enjoys traveling, yoga and spending time with her husband, family, and friends.
